The bulbs arrived well packaged and while I did not go and check all 24 as working, they seemed ok to visual inspection (and certainly no broken glass or other disasters). The two bulbs I am currently using are on a dimmer switch in the kitchen and are working well. They replace 2 CLFs that burned out within three months - it turns out CLFs and dimmers do not mix.
