Very useful book for both junior and senior doctors
I am training to be a Consultant Trauma Surgeon and have come across this book recently. It is written in a superb way and contains most of the information needed in the safe management of
neck
trauma. I am impressed enough to recommend it to my juniors and to my colleagues in training. I am glad that my Academic Centre has ordered it as well but it is a kind of a book which most Casualty staff should possess and refer to from time to time.
Exceptionally good book on neck injuries
I am a Consultant Surgeon in an A&E Unit. I have just seen this book on
Neck
Injuries
. I am impressed with the extensive coverage and with the simplicity of the layout. I would regard it as a useful benchbook in the A&E Departments. It is a good reading material for the FRCS as it revises most of the trauma that one sees in the region of the neck these days. I am particularly impressed with the sections on gunshot an spinal injuries.

Very good book
I am very impressed with the contents and the style of the book. It contains all of the basic details in an easy to understand manner. I find it refreshing, easy to understand and easy to remember. This book has helped me to understand the complex nature of
neck
injuries
better. I strongly recommend it to all surgeons in training. Nick Alderton MD

Excellent, informative, value for money
I have read this book from cover to cover and have learnt a lot from it. It is a pity that I did not see this book in my medical student days. I will now recommend it to all clinical students and to my colleagues in training as General Surgeons. It is refreshing to see simple description of complex
neck
injuries
in this book. In most of the books on trauma, there is such a haphazard coverage that one has to constantly refer from one section to another and in the end has to search out relevant pieces from the internet to make any sense of the management. Miss Dawn Cruickshank MD

Excellent book
I have seldom read books published outside of the USA. I was searching for new information on soft tissue
injuries
of the
neck
and came across this title. It seemed the right book for the information I required and I had it ordered. I was most impressed with the contents. The author has simplified this complex subject and has provided much useful information piece by piece. Reading the book I learnt how wide this field was and I compliment the author and the publisher on this book. I am sure others will find it equally useful and informative. I will certainly recommend it to others. The simple diagrams make it easy to revise the subject.
