Changed my life

When someone recommended this book to me, I was hesitant, at best, and assumed it would be filled with sensationalist psycho-babble. Nevertheless, his sincerity and rave reviews were enough for me to suspend my disbelief and give it a chance, which proved to be a life-altering decision. This book is fantastic, it resonated with me on a level I didn't know existed. It made me excited about life, excited about death, and most importantly, excited about all the opportunities we have to create the lives we'd like to live, and be the people we're truly capable of being. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. When you release your fear of death, you begin to really live.

A fascinating read

Michael Newton transports us into another world - our real home - with compelling descriptions of some of our activities when in spirit. Anyone curious about who we really are would do well to read this. Wonderfully done.

Well with 208 reviews thus far, anything I could say has already been said by those who have responded favorably to this book. I think it is one of the most important pieces of psychoanalytic work ever. It is ground-breaking. Completely lucid and understandable. Gives immediate sense of trust in Newton and his work and findings.

I was led to this book after a series of other "happenings" and now I am going on to having an LBL myself once I find the right therapist. I am certain this is the next step for me in my journey. I am 58 and have been wondering what to do next for some time now. I believe I am back onto something real and meaningful.

It is inspiring, beautiful, and will make you wake up each morning excited to be alive.

This book was given me as a gift. I read it and it completely changed my life; to the point that I no longer even drive the way I used to. I promptly ordered a copy for my sister, and a friend. The friend who had sent me the original book was so impressed by my reception of the book that she said she should read it again, so I sent her copies of the three books by Dr. Newton.
