WOW! A practical book that we can all relate too!

If you really want to understand what drives our fears of public speaking and how we can overcome these fears, this book is a must read. It is written in a very practical, easy to understand way. And best of all, it comes from someone who has been there and can relate to everything we go through.

Light at the end of the tunnel...

The thought of standing in front of a crowd and speaking coherently was impossible, the notion to speak in a public forum daunting, until I found Janet Esposito's book on over coming my "shameful" fear. With pen and highlighter in hand while reading Janet's book cover to cover, I have been able to identify my own myth's and fears, on top of reading other individual's similar fear of public speaking stories, letting me know that I am not alone! I am slowly gaining my momentum. This is a MUST READ for anyone in this predicament!

This is a must-read for anyone who has experienced this fear

Janet Espositio has performed a tremendous service by writing this book. It will be helpful to anyone who has experienced performance anxiety at any level. It is helpful to speakers and performing artists. Well written, it is easy to grasp the ideas and apply them. Many practical strategies are presented within a philosphical framework.

Janet Esposito also offers workshops on the same subject which are wonderful. I am a performing artist who took the workshop and found it took me to the next level. Her passion and commitment come through in the book strongly. Wait until you meet her in person! She is truly inspiring because she has worked through all of these fears herself.

finally...

Its always amazed me that there are so few good books on something so many people fear...Ms. Esposito refrains from the simplistic how-to Toastmaster(r) approach that just doesn't work for many people. This is a book that goes to the core of self-esteem issues that underlie speaking fear for some of us.

Ms. Esposito shares her own doubts and experiences and explains the underlying issues very well. It is personably written and sincere in a refreshing way that many self-help books are not.
