How to Eat Fried Worms

How to Eat Fried Worms
By: Thomas Rockwell

This is a good book. I really hate reading but this book is funny. I have read the book about 2 times. People who like to laugh a lot will like this book. I never laugh out loud but I did on this book. It is about a boy named Bill and he wants a mini-bike he is dared to eat 15 worms in 15 days for $500 dollars. I like this book because it has a lot of ups and downs.

Funny for kids

I read this book when it originally came out in the 70s and found it to be funny with believable characters. I think kids today would also find it amusing except that with all the Fear Factors and clones I think some of the shock value of worm eating has been dissipated.

Since the lead character gets to cook the worms, it really isn't all that bad. Not as bad as the TV shows where even weirder things are eaten raw.

The Boy That Eats worms Whole!

Bill has to eat fifteen worms in fifteen days. If he wins the bet he wins $50 and he can buy his cousin's mini bike. Bill wonted to let everyone to see him eat the last worm so he made a lot of loud noises and he ate it hole! People who like gross stories you would like it. I think that boys and girls would both like it of coarse if they like gross stories. I give these book a nine out of ten.

If you like worm read this book!!

I liked the book How To Eat Fried Worms because it tells us what that person ate (worms) and what goes with it. I think people should read this book because it is a fun book to read and it is funny because they actually fried the worms. You can read the book to find out more things in the story if you like worms. Thats why I put 5 stars!!!

Just a good book for kids to read

My 7 year old son enjoyed this book as one we read together. Some of the dialect I had to explain to him, but obviously with the subject matter, how can you go wrong?
