Still a good review source

I am a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. In addition to our great biochemistry text written by our very own Dr. Meisenberg, which is required reading for many medical students in the U.S. and all over the world; although a little outdated, Lipponcott is still very useful for USMLE preparation (which I aced) and is a must-have for all first year medical students to prepare for exams.

This book is a must have in order to under biochemistry as taught at medical schools, and chiropractic schools.

Great for exam reviews

I borrow this book from the library to prepare for exams and is one of the best reviews around. However, I caution you on relying too much on this as a text. It is best when used in conjunction with good textboks such as lehnigers. Great for cramming.
