Very useful

A great reference. Particularly like the 55 essential verbs. Text at the beginning gives wonderful explainations of verb structure and use of the various tenses.

Verb book comparison

This is a thorough Verb book but I prefer The Big Red Verb book over this one. Both are valuable tools and if you're serious about learning spanish, I'd advise purchasing them both.

The book is still a classic, but the CD is of little use.

I first bought this book in 1988 when I was learning Spanish. Now, almost 20 years later, I own four of them. I am a high school Spanish teacher, and my students use these all the time. This book is a must-have for any serious Spanish student. Verb mastery is essential, and this easy-to-use reference will help you get there.
My only complaint is that the CD does not measure up to the book. It has a few exercises which are not really of use to me. I was hoping that it was an electronic version of the book that I could install on a computer.

a fantastic book (un libro muy fantastico)!

Okay, Spanish isn't my first language, but, with practice, I can communicate better with Spanish speakers. With 501 verbs, it is a fantastic resource for Spanish students and people with more experience. I hope that everyone buys 501 Spanish Verbs because it is fantastic. The roots and forms featured here are so helpful!

This book is good, it gives u alot of verbs fully conjugated and with a CD that helps you learn with it.
