This book is the makeup book of all makeup books. For an on the rise makeup artist, this book is very instructional from product information to makeup application. It as good illustrations of before and afters. And Kevyn also, takes you threw his lifes beginnings. This book is very well balanced and is a much needed tool for a makeup artist

Must-Have for Makeup Lovers!

I've never been particularly adept with a makeup brush, but Aucoin's "Making Faces" helped me achieve a level of mastery with makeup application that I wouldn't have thought possible!
This book also makes a great coffee table book - the photographs are stunning and it's fun to see how Aucoin transforms popular celebrities.

This book rocks!

I really do know nothing about makeup, but with this book I am really learning. The photos are absolutely beautiful, with step by step instruction on how to attempt recreating each look. I love 'Making Faces' and look forward to purchasing Mr. Aucoin's other books.
