Slim Case but It could be Better

I have used a variety of Palm devices, and my all time favorite device was the Handspring Visor Edge. It was the thinnest profile device I ever saw, it was made of brushed aluminum, and it had an aluminum flip lid that protected the screen. I have no idea why this design has not been replicated, because it allowed the user to slip the device in a pocket without having to worry about scratching or breaking it.

That said, case here is the sleekest case available for the Tungsten and offers the most protection. While some argue that the device is not accessible, I have had an easy time using it and can whip it out to take notes or set a date timely enough. I also like the fact that the Tungsten securely attaches to the case so it will not fall out.

I long for the sleek, simple, accessible case of the Visor Edge, but until a better device comes along, the Tungsten paired with this case is as good as it gets.

Tungsten E Hard Case

The case is wonderful for protecting the PDA and is relatively easy to open. What I don't like about it is is that you have to lift the PDA up slightly out of the case to both turn it on and to get the stylus out of its hiding place.

Excellent value and a great case

This is an excellent hard case with a slim profile that will do a great job protecting your PDA. The case has a double hinge so you can fold it completely open which allows it to swing all the way open so that front and back meet. The PDA itself sits inside and is mounted so that it hinges on its left side. The hinge allows you to swing the PDA up from the case to access the stylus, power button, attach the USB cable, and the power cord. It is very, very easy to access these areas by swinging up the PDA on its hinge. We purchased this case because it was a great price and my wife preferred a hard case. It fits in her purse as easy as a large cosmetic compact. The reviewers who mentioned how hard it was to access the areas mentioned above, unjustifiably lowered our expectations. Once the case arrived and we saw how easy it was to access these points we were pleasantly surprised. The PDA in this case is my wife's constant companion which she finds simple to carry and protects the PDA very well. Buy this case!

Excelent protection for such a delicate device

This I bought for my second Tungsten E. The first one died as it fell from my shirt pocket flat on the floor, so I decided to protect my investment with a hard case shell, and it has paid off.

I dropped several times the thing and works like a charm. A few scratches on the shell, but my Palm intact.

Its the best buy ever.

Safe and secure

This is a really great complement to my Tungsten E2. Besides the state-of-the-art design, the hard case provides safe and secure protection to my Palm. It fits easily into my shirt pocket. Although I have to put a little pressure to open it, the E2 perfectly fits inside and looks awesome. What I like best is that I don't have to worry if I drop it by accident because it will stay safe. This is much better than the leather case or other soft cases. Highly recommended.
