Using the card with SanDisk 12-1 Reader

The card works just like it is supposed to. My problem came when I tried to download the images to the reader. Just wouldn't work. THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT ON THESE CARDS IS FANTASTIC. THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM AND SENT A DIFFERENT READER BECAUSE THE SERIAL NUMBER ON THE ONE I HAVE CANNOT READ THE EXTREME. THE COMPANY IS GREAT!!!

Works as advertised...

I purchased two of these for my Canon 30D. They seem to be performing nicely, keeping up with burst mode perfectly on this camera. They also come with a handy little carrying case.

I also updated my old reader to a new one...the USB 2.0 speed is much faster when moving files from the CompactFlash to Hard Drive.

SanDisk Extreme III

The product worked great and allowed faster camera to disk speeds. However I left it in a shirt pocket and ran it through the clothes washer. No longer functioning. Once it completely dried out it is working again.

Big and fast

I was somewhat concerned about the capacity this would provide for my Sony DSLR A100. I bought them at the same time so I didn't have any real information on how many shots it would handle. At 10Mp and fine, the camera claims it will handle 450! And it's fast. The camera shoots at 3fps and I haven't had any problems doing that.

THIS CARD LIVES UP TO ITS NAME

I have taken over 4000 raw images on this card in a Canon 400D with no trouble. About a week after I bought it I accidentally left it in my pants pocket. This card went through the washing machine and 30 minutes in the dryer on high heat! I thought it was ruined but it survived and all my pictures were intact. Even the label is intact. Since then I have taken another 3000 pictures with no problems. It performs about the same in the camera as my 2gb Ultra II but the Extreme III transfers images to my computer much faster. I plan on buying a couple of the 4 gb version soon. Oh I also love the little card case that came with it. I leave it clipped to my camera strap.
