Very happy with purchase...

We bought this for our 3-year old and so far, she has had hours of enjoyment without batteries. I'm sure as she grows with the toy, the mathematical activities will be great. High quality- only downside is that the cash drawer SPRINGS open which sends the coins flying.

Birthday gift

My 5 year old grandson was quite taken with this toy. At his birthday, it was the one toy that he returned to several times.

Learning Money at every level

I purchased this cash register for my 3 year old son who loves to push buttons. He had seen one at his sister's school and it had kept him engaged for a full hour! I appreciate the different levels of learning from coin recognition for the younger kids to making amounts of money for the older kids. Though I have not used all of the features, it seems like an excellent toy to help kids learn about money. A few times the electronics seemed to malfunction, but with help from Mom (me) we were able to reset it or simply push the drawer or coin return closed to get it up and running again. I look forward to exploring this product further with my daughter who is 8 and still learning about money.

Great way to learn about money!

I bought this for my son, who is 3 years old. He loves to play with it. Although the coins may be easy to lose if not careful, it is a great way for him to learn which coins have what value and that a credit card is actually used as money (and not just a piece of plastic). He loves to use it to set up his own "shop" so we can buy stuff from him. Great buy.

Play Cash Register

This is super fun. When you put the coins in the slot it will tell you the coins you are putting in. Your purchases are pretty expensive but who cares you have a charge card!! Which I guess could be bad for kids to learn. Items that you scan are pretty expensive, but it is fun.
