Body Fat Monitor works fie

The Omron HBF-306C Fat Loss Monitor works just fine and is easy enough to use. Established a baseline for everyone in the house (including daughter's fiancee, with a disgustingly low 8% body fat!)

One wonders why it is called a fat LOSS monitor. Presumably it will also measure increases over time. Advertising ploy one assumes.

The readings seem to be fairly consistent (between .2 and .4 +- on the Body Fat).

Great for Fitness Boot Camps

I run a Fitness Boot Camp www.12weekbodies.com, and I like the fact that I can take body fat measurements on 10 people in under five minutes. The only drawback it has is the BMI. For my height, it says my BMI is high, but it does not factor in the fact that I have a lot of muscle mass. For this reason, I do not give it five stars. In situations like mine, I just ignore the BMI and measure the body fat. Overall, it has worked great for me.

Easy to use unit

Easy to use unit but I do see some variations in readings, some fluctuations that makes it difficult to get a "final" on your actual body fat status. The unit has memory for several persons but will only store the persons profile, not his readings (it would be desirable to see your past results). I would definitely recommend this product.
