Saitek Eclipse II Keyboard

Works great. Love the colors. Bright enough for me. All in all a great keyboard with great features at a great price.

Nice concept, uneven light.

Large letters and keypad numbers only. All other symbols & numbers are standard small size.
The backlight design is a great concept, and is clearly possible, since several laptop keyboards are very well done. This Saitek effort is a cheap approach to the idea. just set a grid of lights as a base, and hope they dispurse light well?...

No consistency from one key to the next. They are so uneven, it's almost a joke. The brightest light is the ring around the adjusting dial, next brighest is the left arrow key and right Control key. Z, A, and B, are also bright. All other keys vary in brightness. Purple provides the most light, then Red, and Blue is the lowest light.

Unit seems well made, but I'm concerned about longterm wear, as others have noted letters wearing off!
I give it 3 stars only. Saitek could have put much more quality into this. Others already have. (Apple wireless all-aluminium for a similar price!) So this old-style wired model just doesn't quite make the grade expected.

Love this keyboard. Feels great to type on. Fun to light up keyboard at night and not have to put on the overhead lights which heat up the room. We had a new "mouse" and just wanted a keyboard. This fit the bill.

I like it.

I like this keyboard. Even though the blue is the dimmest, it is easy to see in the dark. My only complaint is that there isn't a separate on/off switch for the illumination. It's integrated into the color choice button (blue, red, purple, off). I think they should get rid of the dimmer switch and make it an on/off switch. My keyboard doesn't need mood lighting.

Great ketboard

Love having 3 colors to choose from and also the fact that it is nothing fancy (not a gaming keyboard). It is perfect when I get up late at night and do not want any bright lights....the blue is the default color and that is the color I use then. Early evening I will use the purple or sometimes the red. You also have the option of shutting the light off completely. Love the keyboard and would highly recommend this one....Amazon has the best price also!
