Awesome!

Simply put, the best razor on the market today. Incredible shave, almost as close as a blade. Although I have a sensitive skin (especially on the neck), I have no problems with this razor. I have used many brands, most either fall apart or have too many downfalls...this thing is a keeper. Sturdy, great shave, and an outstanding cleaning system. Worth the price.

Very close shave

The Braun 9595 is expensive, but is worth it. I've now been using it for about a month to shave my face and head. It is the closest shave I've ever had from an electric (previous experience with Norelco and Remington). With a little work it is virtually as close as a shave with a blade.

A few nits. The screen can get a little hot when you are using it. Also, the only way to have the razor's display show it as being clean is to use the stand. If you use it away from the stand, it will show that it is dirty no matter what you do to try and clean it, but it does not affect its performance any. Otherwise it is 100%.

Great Buy, worth the price

I purchased this shaver a few months ago with some doubt that it would be worth it. Needless to say, I have not picked up a razor in several months!!!! My face is smooth everyday with a quick shave. The auto cleaning system is easy to use and does a great job. I have had the shaver for 5 months and only changed the cleaning solution one time.

Great shaver, buy it at a great price and you will not be disappointed.

The Best I've Used By Far

I replaced an old Braun 7505 with the 9595 and waited two weeks to comment, so here goes. I have never had it so good with a shaver. I tried every way I know how to use it and the best shave for me in the morning is to apply "Lectric Shave" a few minutes prior. This is the closest electric shave I've ever had but I'll have to admit, if you want to go to the trouble to lather up and use a regular razor, you'll get a closer shave still.

One thing I don't understand is why my 5 o'clock shadow is not as noticeable as it was with all other shavers I've used. It doesn't really get rough until the next morning. I feel guilty as I watch it go through the cycle of cleaning itself. I only clean mine every other shave and that should extend the life of the fluid. I shied away from buying one initially due to the price but I finally rationalized it was only the equivilent of 4 tanks of gasoline. Didn't get a brush as mentioned by other reviewers. I guess it was an oversight or they've discontinued the practice.

I like this shaver!
