iphone case

I was looking for a specific type of iphone case that would allow headphone use while the phone is cased. Knowing in advance that I was going to apply A full phone protection material in addition to just the case. So, the openings aren't A problem to me. This case is the perfect choice. Looks and performs excellent for my needs. the only reason I gave it only four stars is that the fold over secures with Velcro. In the past I have seen most Velcro applications wear out over time. We'll see what happens with this one. Other than that, so far so good.

Nice case...but

I love the design and layout but the leather on the clip is already worn out (metal clip showing) after a couple months of use.

wonderful iPhone case

I love this phone case. Its easy to remove my iphone using one hand. The first horizontal phone case I purchased for my iphone did not have deep enough cut outs making it impossible to hear my phone ring, plug in the headphones, and push my phone out one-handed using the bottom finger hole. This one is perfect. I prefer the horizontal style of holder since it doesn't get in the way when sitting. The clip is strong enough to clip onto my pocket, belt, or purse strap without sliding around. There is a pocket inside the holster that makes a great place to store credit card, drivers license, or the cleaning cloth that came with my iPhone. The velcro style closure is my preference although it can be noisy in a quiet room. I've been told that the magnetic closures are not safe to use with the iPhones, not sure what effect they have but since the iPhones are not exactly cheap, I don't want to take the chance of messing up mine. Besides quiet is not the norm in my world with 2 young kids. I will say that I am concerned about scratches to my phone once it is removed from the holster but I feel perfectly safe otherwise. Really like the fact that people can't see what type of phone I have until I remove it from the case and hopefully reducing the chances that my pretty little penny may be stolen.

Works great for my iPhone

This works as promised. I also purchased an "Apple iPhone Soft Polycarbonate Slim fit Case" and it does fit inside as well. I'm always dropping my phone, so I love being able to keep the polycarbonate case on it, even when it's in the leather case. (If I had to swap them all the time I wouldn't use the polycarbonate.)

Excellent iPhone Holster Case!

This holster case is well designed and also looks very professional. I am very picky when it comes to products that I would wear exposed on my waist and looked for a very long time prior to selecting this case. As a medical professional, I needed quick access to my iPhone and protection for the device as well. This holster case works great on all of my slacks/belts combinations as well as being very reliable on even scrub pants (which was a necessity for me in my work environment).

The clasp is tight enough to keep the holster where it needs to be but not too tight to restrict taking the holster on and off easily. Initially, I thought that I would rather have a case that closes with a magnet, but I really think that the hook and loop closure (aka Velcro) works well and even provides more security for the device. I was not impressed with any of the other iPhone cases nor holsters and have been very satisfied with this product.

Length of product ownership: 3 months.
