LOVE IT <333
look tiny first impresion and well made, love the free wheel, i recommended, if u like a good stuff get this.
Great mouse but could've been awesome.
Overall, it's a decent
mouse
. Definitely would recommend someone to try it out before buying it.
I have two peeves that make this mouse fall short of being great imo. The middle click isn't so great; it's not easy to push in like my old MX510. The second is the back and forward buttons are difficult to reach and don't feel easily accessible. They don't protrude enough so that you can feel where they are with your thumb. They're in an awkward location because the mouse is a bit smaller.
I miss the Scroll UP and Scroll Down buttons above and below the scroll wheel the old MX510 had but that can be overlooked. Sometimes the middle click to scroll around doesn't work properly for some reason. Like if I'm viewing a picture within windows and zoom in and try to navigate around it doesn't do it properly. It could be do to the fact that it has a scroll left and right button and the middle click is easily pressing those as you hold the middle click button down.
The size is definitely not for everyone and does take some getting used to. I use the precision grip with 2 x 7gram weights in the middle and it feels solid and nice. I had to get used to holding it near the back so that I can more readily access the forward and back buttons which is a bit weird.

Not good for detail work, buttons at weird angle
I really thought I'd love this
mouse
, coming from the Mx518, but I've had it for a week and just can't recommend it. First, I'm a designer and I've noticed for some reason it's not good at short, slow, fine detail movement. I try to go at a diagonal but it seems to want to go straight to the side. (I'm using a black mousepad, is that making it hard for the
laser
? I don't know. Wasn't a problem before.) Also in FPS games, I notice that small movement problem when aiming. Second, the angle of the buttons is downward, toward the front, lower than the back of the mouse, and to me it feels awkward. It is nice having two grips to switch out, but the wide one is a bit too smooth. I must have wide hands because most mice don't seem wide enough, this one included.

Everything you need + more.
I went from the
Logitech
Mx518 to this
mouse
, and I'd say I like it a lot. I like quality products which is why I mainly get products from Logitech for computer extras like speakers and mice and etc.
This mouse has a sturdy build and many nice features. I really like the fact that it saves profiles in the mouse and you do not need to do installations on the computer, just plug it in and all the data is on the mouse so it's good to go. You need to download a free software program from Logitech to change the light color and to adjust the three profiles.
It's also got the 2 grips and the weights which are a nice feature since people all have different preferences. I wouldn't mine if it was a little more glowy like some Razer mice, but it looks really good as is. The frictionless mouswheel (can switch it between click and frictionless with button on the bottom) is also a really nice feature. I highly recommend this mouse to gamers.
