Fun & Easy

I like this camcorder because it is small and light. It is easy to use with imovie. The picture quality is not the best but it's good for what you pay. I also like the idea of no cables or wires. No recharging the battery. Just have two AA batteries handy and you are ready to go. I plugged it into my T.V. too and that worked great.

Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder, 60 Minutes (Pink)I have the Mino too and the Ultra is just a little "chunkier" all around but is still very small and easy to carry virtually everywhere. It produces very high quality video and audio for most "point and shoot" applications. It has lasted weeks on two "AA" batteries, though most videos we are shooting last under a minute.
The included software is easy and a blast to use. It's easy to export to your computer or compress and upload or email, and the Movie Mix feature is pretty awesome.
Buy the Ultra or it's smaller sibling the Mino and always be able to capture high quality video of the special or unique moments that just happen. Once you have it, you won't want to go anywhere without it.

So much fun.

So much fun. I was very pleased with the quality of the video. Software worked fine on my Mac. After saving and turning the file into the Quicktime format - I imported it into iMovie and did an edit. (I had to put it into Quicktime so iMovie could read it.) Love Flip so much I bought one for my husband. Much easier than dragging out the video camera, making sure the batteries were charged. Love that it runs on 2 AA batteries. I watched the David Pogue critique - that's what sold me. See if you can find his review.
