good mouse

the magic mouse is a great addition to your mac. easy to use and configure. however apple could have added more functionality with it, you can add more by using magicprefs.

Great mouse, but it doesn't fee good in the hand

I cannot begin to describe how awesome this mouse is. it has effortless functionality and Apple really did a great job of fixing the scroll-ball issue with the previous mouse, this is a great mouse. Only problem is that it doesn't fit well in the hand, the profile is too low. Don't get me wrong, I love this mouse and wouldn't give it up for anything other than a more ergonomic design. Just commenting to let folks know. It works AWESOME, just feels weird.

Best Mouse I have ever used or owned

I went out and bought this mouse yesterday, and wow IT IS GREAT. It takes some time to get used to but, after that, you will be gliding threw webpages like that. I have noticed that it does work with other web browsers besides Safari and is just great. It makes so wired sounds and when you first try using the back and forward motions, you might move it. After awhile, your pressure relaxes and you'll be browsing the web even faster. I do not have any complains.

A mouse worth trying out!

I've been using a Logitech MX Duo wireless keyboard and (mx700) mouse since 2003 and have loved it because of its durability and ergonomic design. The batteries last forever too and the mouse has rechargeable ones which save on cost. Although I absolutely love the logitech, it took up a lot of space and ever since the magic mouse came out I was curious on how it was. I finally gave in and got the magic mouse and so far I love it, but it does have some drawbacks:
CONS
- If you're used to an ergonomic mouse it won't be comfortable. Having a cushioned mousepad will help.
- The batteries drain really fast. In the week I've used it(~8hrs/day) the battery level went from 100% to 81%. Rechargeable batteries are a must if you want to save money.

Although there are some cons, the pros definitely outweigh the negative aspects:
PROS
- It looks really nice and matches my new apple bt keyboard
- magicprefs or bettertouchtool will greatly enhance user experience with multitouch gestures
- will work on almost any surface
- small enough to travel with
