My sister in law was raving about her Silpat baking mats during the Christmas holidays. She bakes about 80 dozen cookies each year and says her Silpats make the task so much easier. I finally took the plunge and while I pale in comparison to her baking skills, I just love them. These silicone baking mats are amazing. Nothing sticks, they wash clean with ease. All those years of scrubbing my baking trays.....sigh...well never again. I love my Silpats- worth every penny! PS- watch some of the chefs on the cooking channel- they use them too!

I read a news article praising this item with remarks such as "I would never bake without it". A little pricey, but why not when you can improve a cookie. I'm very impressed with the results. The baking is very consistent, with even heat that shows well on the bottom of the baked item.

Excellent Product

I had one Silpat for several years before I ordered another so I'd have two for baking cookies. The past order was for three more to send to my nieces. They had requested my cream puff recipe, so I sent them the recipe with a Silpat to ensure the puffs didn't stick. This is a wonderful product that has made baking a real joy.

Wonderful Cookies Every Time

I love this item. Cookies slide off with ease. A million times better than cooking spray and nonstick pans. I just slide a baking pan underneath and tada... yummy cookies in no time at all!
