Excellent introduction to Argentine tango

In this DVD, Fabian Salas' demonstration of the basic movements of the Argentine tango is clear and easy-to-follow. It's a great way to learn on your own, or to practice what you're learning in a beginning Argentine tango class.

Perfectly produced instructional

This DVD does everything correctly. It starts with good simple exercises, explains them completely with excellent close-up camera work all the time. No dead time with just talking. It's all dancing - a full hours worth - with clear running explanation of what you are watching. Highly recommend - The Tango Fundamentals.

Excellent Tango basics

I love Argentine Tango!!! The DVD is easy to follow. I like the way is divided by lessons that build on the previous steps. Fabian Salas explains each steps in a clear and concise form, repeating the steps as well as building on the previous steps learned. He encourages the practice of the steps/lessons before proceeding to the next lesson.
Is a great introduction to the beautiful basic steps of Argentine Tango.

Fabian Salas is phenomenal -- but it takes two. His partner in this video is Cecilia Gonzalez. She's the closest thing to both pure magic and zen clarity in the Tango world, as an instructor & performer.

Excellent Job

As a new student of Argentine Tango I found the DVD to be very helpful. The instruction is very clear and easy to follow. I Plan on buying the other 2 DVD's in the series.
