Quality for a low price!
I have been having some major health problems. One Saturday I was forced to call for a Home Health Nurse (versus the paramedics). I was having trouble breathing and was concerned I was having a heart attack, yet had no pain, etc. All I needed was to have my blood oxygen level checked, and had to go through an hour of blather from the nurse, when 30 seconds with the
oximeter
told me what I needed to know. My short breath was caused by a light asthma attack due to a change in my meds. Nurse told me I could not buy a reliable oximeter under $300. I read the reviews and decided to try this unit. It has worked perfectly every time, and is simple to use, you just stick your
finger
into it! Now if I have any concern I can check my oxygen level myself, without suffering through the verbal assault of a "know it all nurse," or wasting the EMT's valuable time.

This is great! Just what we needed and at a fraction of the cost.
Great DEAL on a PULSE OX
I am a registered nurse and have been waiting to purchase a high quality
pulse
ox for a long time. Or at least one that was not $200-400.This is it! It is compact, reads very quickly, and is very accurate in its readings...and it was a STEAL at $65.00(shipping included). IF you also need this piece of equipment, don't hesitate to purchase this item.

Excellent Product
We ordered this product to assist us with managing our COPD. Shortly after, my husband was hospitalized and we had an opportunity to check the accuracy while he was in ICU and it was very accurate. The product is worth every penny.

Great little device.
Recently, my husband was hospitalized for a "breathtaking" upper respiratory infection which conflicted his breathing capabilities. He was in a rehab unit for a month for pulmonary rehab. Each day while he was working out, they used a
pulse
oximeter
to determine his oxygen levels and heart rate. (In addition to COPD - he also has congestive heart failure.) We purchased one of these units to monitor his levels after he was released. Actually, I had misgivings about the unit due to its low cost relative to other units available - thinking that the low price would mean it was ineffective. Because it was shown as being approved by the FDA, I did purchase it and have to say that we are very satisfied with it and have tested its accuracy with units in the pulmonary physician's office. My husband would like to wean himself off the oxygen he now requires and we use this unit as he does his exercises at home to determine if his breathing or heart function become compromised. Our experience with the unit has been very positive.
