Great TTL flash!

I bought one with my Nikon D80. I've since bought another. There is a lot of good information in the other reviews here, so I won't blab, but I love the wireless capabilities of this flash. It seems to do most everything the SB-800 will do (the SB-800 is more powerful though). It is also lighter than the SB-800. The cost of the SB-600 vs. the SB-800 made it a no brainer for me. I used both SB-600's and an SB-800 to do a large family outdoor protrait a few weeks ago. The flashes are awesome. Why not get 2?

Top Quality

One of the many reasons I am a Nikon user is the superior camera flash system. Whether you buy the SP-800, or the SP-600, or splurge on the new SP-900, you will have an excellent camera flash. I have the 800 and the 600 so I can use the Nikon master/slave system. I would get the 800 if you are really serious about flash photography, but the 600 is adequate for most people.

NIKON SB 600 SPEEDLIGHT FLASH

I had an opportunity to use my new Nikon SB 6OO Speedlight flash at a recent birthday party. My pictures were fantastic with no shadows and no red eyes. If I had know how much this flash would improve my indoor pictures I would have purchased it a lot sooner.

Great price performance

I was torn between this flash and the SB-800. I decided to save a little money and do with out more poser and I think one extra feature. Very satisfied. I do not use all the features on the flash - it is beyond my needs, but I like knowing they are there. I am happy with my compromise
