Interestiing and Useful Device

I was looking for a way that my wife could carry extra AA rechargable batteries for her camera. I discovered this while browsing Amazon.com and it looked like it might be just the solution.

I ordered one, figuring that worst case, it wouldn't be very good. I was pleasantly surprised with it. It was a bit bigger than I had imagined and it seems to be a bit more flimsy than I had expected; but overall it seems to be pretty good. Good enough that I've decided to order a second one.

The device consists of two plastic containers that each almost form-fit around a pair of AA batterise. One of the halves is slightly smaller around than the other so that it inserts into the bigger one. There is a pretty clever ribbing notches on the outer edge of the inner half that engage with another, similar set of notches inside the upper half. The ridges are pretty small; but they do a pretty excellent job of interlocking to form a sort of ratcheting system that locks the two halves togher allowing you to carry 4 AA's.

The plastic is pretty flimsy and thin; but it appears to be thick enough to provide adequate protection and to withstand at least a fair amount of abuse and a bunch of engagement/dis-engagement cycles as you remove and replace the AA's.

From the look in the add, you might think that the overall color scheme is is transparent organe and clear; but the orange is just the display wrapping. When it is removed (which it has to be to use the device), then you are left with an entirely clear plastic case.

Anyway, I was surprised that it was more flimsy than expected; but as far as I can tell (and I've opened and closed about a dozen times now) it is sufficiently strong to withstand at least nominal usage over many repeated cycles.

So I am very happy with the product and, as I noted, am buying a second one. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Does a great job and last a long time. I have twenty of these batteries.

Too expensive and dont last long

These are too expensive and dont last long before needing to be charged again. When fully charged they still arent powerful at all.

Ive gone back to buying regular batteries because of the lack of power.

Easy & Reliable

Not much to say except that the batteries are exceptional and the innovative small carrying keychain keeps the always accessible.

They want a review after 2 weeks..so here goes

In 2 weeks, I have received the product, charged the batteries and put in a Canon camera and a flashlight. Both are performing gr8 so far...but then what could you expect after 2 weeks. Maybe after 2 months I could give so helpful feedback.
