While the setup and driver installation can take some time and be rather onerous, this camera is of superior quality. I am impressed by the amount of quality improvement over older webcams I have owned. The camera fits well on my Gateway notebook and as a nice touch, it includes a small zipper case. I would definitely recommend this camera, or perhaps if you'd like to be more impressed, one of the next models up in this product line.

Good handy stuff

Handy stuff -- does its job well for $10. Also the design is good so you don't need to worry about clip springs getting loose, etc. Thumbs up!

Good for the cost.

The Logitech Quickcam Deluxe is a pretty good web cam for your notebook. Its is small in size, seems well built, and provides good video quality for your typical IM video chat features. Software allows you to install the drivers only and that worked out well on Vista. Only issue I have had is with the clip. Using the camera on a Toshiba notebook and it has a bit thinker and angled lip on the screen top. The clip works but you have to work with it for a little bit to get it on correctly. Outside of that issue I would say this a a very good video camera for every day video chat.

Excellent Webcam for Notebooks

The Logitech QuickCam Deluxe for Notebooks is an excellent choice. It is compact, good looking and does the job it was designed to do without fuss or bother. The price is more than right with the $[...] rebate that came with it. (The rebate hasn't arrived yet, but I'm sure it will. Logitech is a reliable company.) Highly recommended.

Perfect Webcam

This Webcam provides so many settings options for users. The video is very clear. However, the webcam is little hard to adjust left/right, and the stand is not comparable for CRT monitors.
