Someone recommended this book to me two years ago and I didn't listen. I finally purchased this book only to find that this book is so powerful and yet it is so simple. In its simplicity lies the power to empower your being with the ability to transcend all those avenues of disempowering. In other words it teaches you how to dodge the bullets of life by arming you with the shields of protection. This book is a First Aid tool, a necessity akin to a car manual or the washing machine manual. Those books wouldn't be far from their machines and Positive Energy is the absolute manual for our body machines and should be read and re-read and kept close at hand.

In a world of self-proclaimed gurus with questionable credentials, Dr. Judith Orloff is a very, very refreshing change. She is both a MD and a board certified psychiatrist. She is a pioneer in the field of energy psychiatry which I believe offers so much potential for dramatically improving the quality of lives.

This book changed my life like few others ever have. It lifted my awareness of the importance of energy (of all kinds) for achieving a fulfilling life. Equally important, it laid out a thoughtful, comprehensive approach to improving ones energy. Best of all, I felt comfortable that Dr. Orloff was sharing the very best scientific information on the subject, not setting me up to purchase some "hope in a bottle" or some hyped life changing bangle.

I think so highly of this book that I regularly distribute copies to those who could benefit from it. And, whenever I am traveling someplace Orloff will be speaking, I attend her speeches (which are heavy on facts and short on hype).
