A great companion for the challenges of today

The disclaimer at the front of the book is a catastrophe and completely unnecessary. It states:

"This book is a product of its time and does not reflect the same values as it would if it were written today. Parents might wish to discuss with their children how views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations have changed since this book was written before allowing them to read this classic work.

I have found nothing in the book that warrants this disclaimer and question the motivations of Wilder Publications in this regard. It would be a great thing if the rights of publication could be transferred to other hands.

As for the content of the book I feel great reading the intentions of our forefathers. They were very wise and thoughtful in their construction of documents presented in this book. It becomes apparent that we seem to have strayed far away from their wisdom and intentions in our 'modern' forms of governance.

I recommend this book very highly as a useful tool to achieve added perspectives upon how we are governed now as opposed to what was intended at the time of the writing of these documents.

The writings within are timeless in value and well within the reach of all but small children no matter what the publisher seems to think.

The Constitution

How does one review a document of this magnitude. Ridiculous to even seek a review. Find the disclaimer in the front of the publication offensive to the point that I'll not use Amazon as a source for books again. And, doubt that this will get published.
