I loved this movie as a kid; I now know how good it was!

This movie was one of the fondest moments of my childhood. This DVD helped me relive those moments, and the behind-the-scenes helped me realize why those memories were so fond.

The movie was enjoyable to watch. The segments on the making of the film reveal why it was so successful, why I enjoyed it so much when I was a kid.

There is only one complaint I have, and that regards the packaging. You realize early on that the primary storyteller, a key character, was Bagheera the panther, and he has been my favorite Disney character. Yet he is not at all on the packaging of the film, either on the front or on the back.

One Disney film gives you the idea that all of Disney's animated films are classics, and I strongly disagree. However, this one definitely is a classic.
It may not have been faithful to the original writing, and maybe its differences are what made this movie so effective.

I bought it cuz I love old disney movies and it was going back into the disney vaults for 5 to 10 yrs.

Great movie

I am a grandmother and I do love this movie! My grandkids also love it. Bought it for my 3 yr. old granddaughter and it's one of her favorites! Great music and fun.

Classic Fun Movie

this is a great movie for kids and adults too! I watched it with my granddaughter who is 3.5 and we both really enjoyed it. It has fantastic animation and really great music/songs! An all around fun movie that is entertaining enough for a 3 yr old and fun stuff for adults too.
