What a steal.

This is an unbelievable camera. The image quality is very clear. It is so easy to use, that you will get addicted to this camera. Installing the software is easy, fast downloads with memory card. This camera will save you money(no more buying film and no more developing fees). A memory card size 32MEGS can hold up to 144 6x4's images on superfine quality. The only thing bad is the batteries run out fast. So if you purchase a memory card, battery charger, 2 sets of batteries, and small case.....YOU ARE SET.

Better than my old S100

I used to have a Canon Elph S100. I took so many pictures with it that when it died I didn't know what to do. I was livid after spending [the money} to have two rolls of film developed at the drug store. I pretty much only take pictures to put on the web. I'm not a big fan of hard-copy prints.

So, after some shopping around, I decided the A10 was perfect. I never used the higher resolutions of the S100 (2.1Mpix). The larger size of the A10 actually translates into a much better user interface. Plus, you can get lens and filter kits for the A10. I just wish it had a better manual focus mode!

Really cool camera

easy to use, takes beautiful pictures, the quality is unbelievable with that price, I bought 64MB memory card and set the camera to small resolution, it can take up to 300 pictures.
If your are a beginner and look for your first digital camera, buy this one!

Excellent Camera at a great price

I have owned an Agfa and a Vivitar digital camera and now the Canon A10. This camera takes unbelievable perfect, clear, sharp, accurate pictures. They look like they were taken from a regular camera. There are a lot of features that allow you to customize your pictures - like a manual camera or there is a completely automatic setting to let the camera do all the work for you. The automatic setting does a great job!! I am so pleased with this camera. I know people who have paid 2 to 3 times what I did for a camera and theirs doesn't take as good of a picture as the Canon A10. A definate reccomendation to buy!!

Good features for the price

I love the features of this camera, which include photo-stitching
and 3x Optical zoom. My only complaints are flash is a little weak especially in dark places or clubs, which is where I take most of my pictures, and color is not great...I have to do some tweaking and adjusting using photo editting program to achive best results. Duracel Ultra has worked the best for me I've been able to snap close to 1000 pictures on one set of batteries, as long as you dont use the display too much. Other batteries are a waste of time time and money, they drain in a flash. Some of the top Energizer batteries I'm sure will do fine also.
