Sony DCR-TRV17 great product

Just received this new handycam for my birthday. Excellent resolution, very easy to use. With an amazing amount of features with just a small unit, I give this camera 2 thumbs up!!

great video quality even in the dark!!

I bought a sony trv-730,didnt like it,its too heavy,grainy picture/video quality,returned it and got this trv-17 ,this has really good video quality as well as still shots and the size is really compact and very light,I love it ,wouldnt trade it for any digital 8's,but if you want to get something better and spend few hundred dollars, get the sony trv-30,this thing is amazing ,check it out and you'll say its the best!!!

A great idiot- proof camera

With it's image stabalization and all of its other automatic features, this camera makes even the most novice director look good. I can shoot from indoors to outdoors, walking, or standing still and this camera adjusts the video, lighting, etc. to what I am doing. It is more expensive than others in it's class, but accessories are easy to find, and Sony makes a high quality product. One more thing; this camera has a very nice lens, so buy a lens filter for it to keep it from being scratched.
