Not bad and not the best

We received this for my daughter for Christmas (almost 2 yrs old) and she has plenty of fun stuffing the animals down the silo and pulling them out the bottom. She also loves to pull open the doors that make the animal sounds and moves the chicken back and forth. As far as educational value, it's minimal. Maybe when she gets older she will put the horse behind the door that makes the horse sounds, but not just yet.

I do have one big gripe with this toy. My niece also received this toy for her first birthday and we both have the same issue. The cow's door does not work very well or at all. My niece's cow door is stuck and only a 3+ yr old could figure out to pull much harder to unstick it to make a sound. My daughter's cow door worked for all of 3 minutes and now makes no sound at all.

Beyond that, not a bad toy. Durable, makes plenty of sounds, and the toys are much bigger these days so there is no choking hazard.

The sound is very low.

I bought this farm set for my 3 year old niece. I was not very impressed with it. The sound is so low you can hardly hear it. She was bored with it after a few minutes.

Great intro to Little People Family

Reese got this at her first birthday party, but i stored it until she was about 18 months. She enjoyed exploring all the sounds . . . adding her favorite cars to the barn, along with the animals and farmer. I took off the hay hatch for awhile, but now at almost 2 she plays with the entire set :) We are hoping to add to her collection :)

Great gift.

My 15 month old loves it!

My son got this toy a couple of months ago and it remains his favorite toy. His almost 4 year old sister even likes to play with it with him. The silo does pop off easily but it's also very easy to pop back on so it's not an issue. He loves opening and closing the little doors and putting the animals down in the silo. This is the only toy we own that he consistently plays with. Great purchase!

My girls love this toy barn and animals

If you are looking for a toy with lots of bells and whistles this is not it, BUT if you are looking for a good quality toy that you and your child can use her imagination then this is it. We make animal sounds, play hide the animals down the silo, sing "Old MacDonald" and my older daughter uses her imagination. We can play for hours with this one toy. The little people toys are very durable and are good for homes with multiple aged children (we have ages 10 months to 3 years). there aren't any small pieces to worry about as with some of the other toys out there.
