I purchased the Braun System Epilator two years ago.
It is excellent for removing facial hair ( don't wear
"bikini" any more...would be nice! The Braun is still working!!!! It has reduced the hair growth. I would recommend the Epilator Cream with it...can't remember the name....you Amazon folks...help me out with this......

It's the best!

I have been using various types of epilator products (the ones that yank the hair out by the root) since 1989 with limited success. The latest version I have, prior to using the Braun 5270 Silk-epil X'elle Body System Epilator, is a optiMax Emjor. Out of the various products I have used in these past 19 years, the optiMax Emjor was the best at removing the hair, but even then, it left a lot behind. Pain is not a factor for me - I am someone who enjoys getting tattoos and I had a 10 pound baby with no pain killers, so pulling the hair out by the roots is no big deal.

All of that has changed with the Braun 5270 Silk-epil X'elle Body System Epilator. I used it for the first time last night and had NO underarm hair leftover. This has never happened before with these types of products. The only time I have had no hair under my arms was either when I shaved, or paid a pretty price for waxing. Even with waxing, it didn't last very long since the hair grows back at different rates.

I love this device. I recommend it, wholeheartedly. Since I no longer shave (two years!), found waxing too expensive and time consuming, and don't like the smell of the hair removal creams, this is the best device "since sliced bread."

Braun 5270 - The wild hair zapper!

The braun works great on a face full of wild hairs. If your like me the descendant of a werewolf, it'll be your new best friend. It hurts at first and creates little bumps but that resilient human body will soon adjust and it won't hurt or cause bumps anymore, really. Plus, its a Braun, they still make good stuff. It's a great tool and will reduce plucking time by 80%. There's no need to worry with Sunday sessions because one minute with this baby and your done.
It's worth every penny!

Pretty good but not what I expected

I used to have the old one that hurt like crazy (and i'm good with pain) and I got this one for my legs and underarms so I wouldnt have to shave anymore. So it does a pretty good job- like you can's see any hair but it still doesn't feel smooth like after you shave. Hardly painful on legs but hurts pretty bad when doing underarm. I would still recommend it though since even though skin may not feel all smooth, you still don't have to shave for about 3 weeks :) and it works pretty fast too :)

the best hair removal system in 20 years

I have been using epilady since I was 12 or 13; for about 20 years. Bought this Braun due to replacement of an old epilady. I wish I purchased this model much earlier. Better in every way than any Epilady I've used in a long time. Light that assists vision while removing hairs at first seemed rediculous but it really does help. Fast removal, completely does the job. Super highly recommended.
