wireless phone

the uniden phone works with the other cordless phones that I already had. this unit is for the outside porch and it had to be able work in damp conditions without harming it. it is submersible and work perfect, even though it has no phone line to it.

If you are in the need for a rough, durable "outside" extention phone that you don't have to worry about getting wet, this is a terrific addition to your Uniden cordless system. Yes, it is $50 but when you take it out of the box and compare it to your Uniden system phones, you'll see and feel why! It works just like the standard phones but is the "Brute"!

Great phone, and it really is waterproof

This is a really good phone. I bought the additional handset after buying a package at Sam's Club that contained an answering machine base and four handsets, one being the waterproof satellite handset. Like the advertisement says, it really is waterproof. I talk to people while I'm in the shower. Great bathroom phone!

Takes whatever you can dish out

This phone, though a bit heavy and bulky, is the best outdoor/work environment phone I have ever owned. It handles drops, water, mud, and so far, anything elde we have thrown its way. Its range is exceptional and the features are very useful. It was easy to setup and holds a charge well.
