Finally, a pedometer that works

Just so you know where I'm coming from...I have a drawer full of pedometers. I'm a walker who averages 25-30 miles per week and I've tried a number of pedometers. Most have never been very accurate or have been very difficult to program. Even worse, some have worked ok for a few weeks and then, for some unknown reason, stopped working altogether.

This pedometer is great. It was easy to set and required only a little adjustment to count the steps accurately. I wear it during the day and while walking so that I can keep track of progress towards my goal of
10,000 steps per day, which my doctor recommended. I was a little iffy about ordering the pedometer with the software, but I was glad that I did. It helps to keep track of my daily steps and was really easy to use. At the end of the week I can look at the graph and see what I have or have not accomplished. The pedometer also resets itself every night, so I don't have to think about anything except clipping it on in the morning. I usually clip it on to my waistband, but it will still work accurately stuffed into my pocket. It also has a safety clip that will keep you from losing the pedometer if it works itself loose from your pocket or waistband.

This is a good, accurate pedometer.

Easy to use, reliable!

This pedometer is easy to use, easy to read, and very reliable. I have not used the online software yet, but I'm looking forward to using it. It's helped me keep track of my steps/miles/aerobic steps every day. This has helped me loose the last 20 lbs on my diet program by helping me increase my walking each day and keeping track of it! Great tool!

Great motivator

My wife and I have been using these for 4 weeks now. Distance is very accurate. Pc connection was the main driver for choosing this pedometer along with the pocket feature. Not having to keep it clipped horizontal to your clothing makes taking it with you all day very easy. Wonderful product

I have been using the Omron Pocket pedometer for a little over a year. It works flawlessly. I was skeptical about whether it would record steps while in a pocket or purse, but it works! The safety cord is a good idea, as it can slip out of a pocket. My one criticism is the the belt clip is not well designed, holding it too far from the body and it sits too low on the device, so it is top-heavy and tends to slip from your belt. for me, this is minor, as I just slip it in my pocket.
The computer program is easy to load and is very helpful.
I have purchased a second unit as a gift for a friend.
