Great printer, but the box doesn't contain required cable

Beware, although this is a great printer, the box doesn't contain the cable required to connect the printer to a PC. And the product description doesn't make it clear that the cable isn't included, nor does Amazon list the cable as being a product most people purchase with this printer.
So imagine my surprise as I tried to set up this printer at my vacation home, only to learn from Canon support that I needed to drive to a store to purchase the required cable.
Otherwise, great printer.

I bought the Canon Pixma ip90v printer to replace a non-portable printer that was relatively light weight, but a little bulky to carry around. In addition to the driver, the printer software loads an on-screen manual on your computer which turned out to be handy because the first time I used the printer it kept feeding two pages at a time. I went to the on screen manual's trouble shooting section, and it immediately provided the solution that fixed the problem. I am very happy with the performance of the printer, and Amazon had it on sale for about 30% off list price. Great printer!

I bought this printer because I wanted detailed and perfect color prints for my artwork. I have an HP photosmart at home, which is okay, but doesn't compare to the quality of the Canon. I also bought the battery pack for travel, but haven't used it yet. This printer is worth the money and I highly recommend it!

Travel Printer

I really enjoy being able to take a printer when I travel. It takes full size paper and prints in color. It has WIFI and uses Bluetooth as well. It is fast and does as good a job as my larger printers. It goes right in my laptop carrier bag and away we go. I recently bought a internet tablet so I could, if I carries a large handbag get both in there. I'm very pleased with its quality and it is light.

Awesome Printer!!!

My first printer (Canon I70) lasted me six years. I started using generic printer cartridges and they jammed my printer so I had to purchase a new one... iP90v. I don't know why everyone doesn't have one of these printers for their laptop. It's small, prints great, and the canon ink cartridges last a good amount of time. I use this printer on a daily basis and I couldn't be happier with it's performance. Bottom line is this... This is one good printer.
