Loved it before it was even out of the box
A couple of years ago I had the
Logitech
mx5000 Bluetooth keyboard/mouse and it was hands down far and away my favorite keyboard ever, as far as range, keyboard feel, the weight of the mouse, it was perfect in almost every way until about three weeks in and the mouse kept wandering off (of the Bluetooth connection) and had to be re-associated on almost every reboot, then it started trying to be friends with my Bluetooth head
set
for my cell phone every time it got within range, finally, the keyboard decided it wasn't on the allowed devices list anymore and that was the end of that. I replaced it with a M$ RF set that was very decent but never as precise as the Logitech was. After only about a year and a half the left mouse button started failing and the pointer started having issues tracking and finally the keyboard started having response issues as well. I knew I didn't want another Bluetooth set, while the range and security are certainly better how good is it when you have to go find a standard ps2 keyboard just to log on so you can re-associate the keyboard again?! , first of all its tiny USB key size receiver is both attractive and unobtrusive unlike the comparatively humungous M$ receiver. Setup was a snap; plug it in, press the button on the receiver and the mouse and once more each for the keyboard and you're up and running. Range seems to be much better than on the M$ set as well, and none of the cylon-esq scanning lightshow and 45 second waiting period before the receiver decides if it's okay to "talk" to the mouse or keyboard or not (on initial setup the M$ set took at least three association attempts before it would fly). The keys feel a bit soft to me but ergonomically it is extremely comfortable and avoids the whole split keyboard mess - ewe. The mouse is also a bit light for my taste and just a touch too small, but not so much so that I can say it is a deal breaker. Overall - Logitech goodness excellent design easy and fast setup, stylish all around, and except for the AIM crapware that wants to install with the included software, very useful and easy to use setup CD as well.
**** update, a few more days into ownership and I have to agree with the other recent posters, still loving the keyboard, it is simply awsome, but the mouse leaves something to be desired which is why 4 and not 5 stars, the forward and back buttons are terrible, and the mouse is too small for my hands but again, it isn't a deal breaker by any stretch, I would buy this again in a second.

Mostly great, mostly quiet.
I used a Belkin corded ergonomic keyboard for the last 3 years, and loved it. But the keys were loud, and the buttons were sticking more and more.
I wanted a wireless ergonomic keyboard or something similar. I just received the
Logitech
Wave
and am enjoying it.
Pros:
- Quiet. All of the keys are quiet - except for the space bar.
- Speed. I read reviews saying this might not work well for those who type really fast. I type over 100 wpm, and the keyboard is great.
- Layout. On a regular or laptop keyboard my hands feel squished together. On this keyboard my hands are about half-way between how they were on my ergonomic and a flat keyboard.
- Customizable Function buttons. Sure to be a time-saver, I can open all of my frequent programs with a few strokes on the keyboard.
Cons.
- Spacebar isn't as quiet as the other keys. All the other keys sound just a little louder than just tapping my fingers on my desk. Spacebar clicks.
- Home/End/Delete/Page Up/Page Down layout is different and awkward for this difference. This will just take some getting used to.

great keyboard, mouse is not the best
I've owned this
set
for about a year now. The keyboard has been great so far, but the mouse is another story w/ the main issue being it eats batteries pretty fast. Its rated at 6 mos. but for our family who use it daily and turn it off (via its switch on the bottom) at night it lasts closer to 3 I'd say. It constantly flashes a red light on top and you also get on screen messages reminding you the batteries in the mouse are "critical". It's annoying if you don't want to change them right away. I am probably going to upgrade back to a wired mouse, the
logitech
G5. Less hassle, less waste, and less expensive to maintain. I havent seen any increase of "freedom" being wireless anyways, as it stays on its pad on the desk anyways. Having a wireless keyboard on the other hand does enable extra freedom of moving it wherever, say your lap reclining in your chair, when typing. The other thing I dislike about it is the forward button being on the opposite side of the back button. The styling and size is good however.

Works well on the Mac
This keyboard performs well with an iMac. I was having carpal tunnel issues with the default aluminium keyboard that comes with the iMac. This one has large keys. The media controls work well. Only screen brightness is missing a button. The keyboard is black. and looks quite decent. As someone else mentioned, its not exactly a compact keyboard. No wireless tracking issues.Have had it for about 2 weeks now. It has a "windows/Option" key , and an "Alt/Command" key. I haven't had any complaints with the software.
