Great little photo printer

I had a Canon Pixma 6600D that was going bad. It was a great photo printer, but after several hundred+ photos it was showing some wear and tear. I decided I wanted a little portable photo printer to take to parties and after researching I decided I want to stay with the Canon family and chose this printer. So far has been great. The quality is close to my last printer and I have taken it to several parties. Lots of people were surprise at the quality and enjoy having to take their pictures home. I will need some more testing before final judgment, but for now it has met all my expectation.

Daughter loves it

17 yr. old daughter was printing pictures within a few minutes. Although she's very computer literate she likes the fact that she can just print from the memory card. Yesterday she brought the printer downstairs and printed up a picture for her brother, no computer necessary. So, so far so good. She hasn't needed ink yet but she might slow down printing when she has to start buying that but that's pretty much the same with most of these printers. Based on a few weeks use I'd give it a solid 9+.

WOW, what photos!!!

I can't even begin to go into detail about this printer, except to say WOW! We used this with our Canon 8 megapixel digital camera, put the memory card into the printer, and used the Canon PRO paper. The results are clear, crisp, true-to-life, photo lab quality prints you will be amazed by. We printed out all our Christmas photos and our guests were in awe at the quality. The printer has tons of built-in features, including red-eye reduction which worked perfectly (even when our Canon camera's red-eye reduction did not work for some reason). The only downside is the ink tank and paper could be a bit cheaper. But this Pixma mini320 printer is definitely a worthwhile purchase if you are looking for lasting high-quality photos!

Extremely Happy!

Can it give it 6 stars?? I could not be happier with this printer. I just got it last night and printed about 40 pictures already. I bought a new canon camera recently (Canon PowerShot S5-IS) with the quality of pictures it takes and the pictures that this printer puts out, you would have thought they were proffesionally done.

The print quality is amazing. The printer has an auto-photo fix built to help print a better picture. It will print calandars, collages, pictures with frames, and even a picture index! I have tried them all out and very pleased with the results. It is very user friendly and I am sure that my kids would be able to use it with out a problem.

I would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a compact printer. The printer is small enough to take with you!! Great, Great, Great Product!!

Great Printer!

I purchased this printer after having to return a Sony because it was not compatible with Macintosh. Once you get all of the wrapping off, this is a plug and play printer. The pictures are a wonderful quality, the price of ink is very reasonable, and it is a bit cheaper than other printers I looked at. I was able to download the software onto my Mac with great ease, as well. I chose this over an HP because it accepts SDHC Memory Cards, which I also just purchased. The bonus was realizing that it also prints 5X7 photos, too. The frames are a cute little addition, but a little hard to position some pictures to fit properly. I expect that I won't use this option much, anyway. Great printer at a great price!
