Flat but wide makes for comfortable hand position. But no middle button.

This mouse was actually great. Even though it uses two standard AA batteries, it's quite flat and sleek. But it's also wide so my hand isn't in a scrunched up position like so many smaller mice. It's a pleasure to use. I also like the feel of the trackball which softly clicks as you turn it (although I actually hate real trackballs). My only problem with this mouse is it has no middle button. I expected the trackball to double as the middle button, as on the Mighty Mouse, but no. Sorry, need it for Maya. So I had to return it. Darn!

The Perfect Bluetooth Mouse For An iMac....

Although the Kensington SlimBlade Bluetooth mouse costs more than the Apple Bluetooth MacMouse (or whatever they call it), it seems to be a better choice than the MacMouse.

1. It matches the current production Thin Tin iMacs better, since it is Graphite (Dark Silver) rather than white. The MacMouse, which matches the old style Fat White iMacs, is white.

2. It is a left-right click mouse, so it is less of a contrast than the one-click-fits-all MacMouse is with the left-right click mouses that many of us use at work.

3. The ball itself is much larger than the ball on the MacMouse.

4. One can hold the Kensington Mouse in one's hand (after training one's thumb to click between the "Mouse" and "Scroll" functions) rather than having to keep the mouse a surface.

One of the best I've ever used..

It has a solid feel complimented by a solid performance. And the trackball feature is great to have, even if I don't use it that often. I gave it four stars just because I've only had it for a little while. I do plan to buy at least one or two more just to have as spares, or to keep in separate places.
