GREAT Case

I love this case. I get lots of compliments on it. It feels a lot more expensive than it was. It is thick and soft and I like that it doesn't have anything covering the touch screen. It is easy to access everything I need to access when using the IPOD. I like the magnetic closure too. This is an overall great case and well worth the money!

Sophisticated Protection it is

The gel "cases" you slip on to your iPod/Phone/PDA never appealed to me. The harder and most protective cases are bulkier then I would like. This leather case is perfect for me. Almost all of the iPod Touch is covered--a small spot on each side and bottom and the corners is all that remain visible. Of those, I think only the bottom corners could really make impact if dropped (the rest being recessed within the leather). Of course, the port to connect to your computer and the headphone jack are in the parts that remain accessible. My guess is the leather (not, I think the finest leather around, but nice) is as protective as the gel cases. And its simply a beautiful sophisticated look (as others have noted, its a good look for an office). Oh, and I didn't really have a problem with an odor.

It does smell.

As other users have said, this product reeks a chemical odor when first opened. Luckily, the stench of mine faded after a day or two... It's a good case, I think, but I have to dock a star for that stench.

Yes it does smell!

It did have a strong odor, but I put the IPTouch in it and have used it for a month. It is in my handbag sometimes, in my glovebox other times and I'm fine with it now. I like the way it protects the IPTouch. I haven't taken it out since I received it. I've had other leather goods with a strong odor and it dissapates over time. I am glad I purchased it.

EXCELLENT case...

If you tend to drop your pricey electronics like I do, this case is for you! I've had my iPod Touch for seven months now and there isn't a scratch on it. The case is even scratch-resistant, and still looks as cool as ever. Highly recommended!
