Dog Lover

This book is a wonderful coffee table book for all dog lovers. Each picture captures each dogs personality. The photographer writes a little about each of the dogs, name etc. Warning!! You are going to want to take all of them home!

Wonderful, heartwarming photos and stories of homeless dogs who deserved to matter to someone. Beautiful pictures.

I truly love dogs. These precious ones have eyes as old as the ages, maybe it is the confusion of their young lives so far. I would have loved to take each one home and loved them forever. This book sits on my living room coffee table for all to see.

It will melt your heart out

today i stumbled across this book. It just had to have it. The photos are amazing and these dogs' eyes are a true window to their soul. i dont know if this is fate, but when i was paying for it a lady was at the next register, and said she should be buying this book, being the proud owner of a shelter dog herself...in 5min she literally told me everything i ever wanted about adopting a shelter dog...

Coffee Table Book for Everyone!!

I came across a review of this book in EW magazine and i've searched ever since. Finally picked it up a local Borders and couldn't put the book down once i started reading.

Shelter dogs gives a heartwarming portrait of how life is like for a shelter dog. There's not much writing in the book, but there's no need for it. The pictures speak a thousand words, the eye's and the portraits that these dog's seem to take on are amazing. At the end of the book there's a little dialog telling something about what happened to each of the dog's in the book. Some got adopted and others not, i can only imagine what it's like to be a shelter dog.
This book sits on my coffee table for everyone to see and read. By letting them read and see the pictures, i hope it changes there ideas about what too do next time they think about adopting an dog!
