Wonderful book
This book has so much information! It's the best book on
natural
family planning that I've read. I highly recommend this book for anyone that is trying to get pregnant or looking for a natural form of
birth
control
. It's helped my husband and I to keep from getting pregnant...now I'm hoping it will help us conceive!
Great book!
Every woman should read this book! Very informative! Great information! Well written, and entertaining!
Need to know basis
Often, women's
health
information is disseminated on a strictly need-to-know basis. In school, them might teach you about having a period and what a vagina is but they really have no desire to explain in detail the female cycle. It's apparent too, that most women only find this book when they begin trying to conceive. All women would benefit from reading this book. As Weschler reiterates many times, if women were taught about their cycle and fertility, they would be less ashamed and even proud of their bodies. In addition to being a vast tome of knowledge, this book is easy and fun to read. I went through it in a few days as it is well written and fascinating. I found this book helpful in beginning charting. I also used the online software, but found it inaccurate. I appreciate the fact that Weschler provides website support and access to blank charts free of
charge
(she actually encourages you to copy the charts out of the back of the book). I believe this author has women's best interest at heart and respects the inherent wisdom of women's bodies. Although the book is detailed and specific, Weschler continues to encourage women to listen to their bodies and use their own personal judgement.

A must for all who use Natural Family Planning
By following the easy to follow instructions in this book, I was able to avoid preganancy for 2 and a half years and then was able to achieve preganancy on my first attempt. It is so liberating to be in
control
of
your
fertility without the use of any artificial means of
birth
control. I also learned a lot about my body and was able to tell almost immediately when something was wrong. I highly recommend this book to all who want to avoid or achieve pregnancy
natural
ly.
Wealth of knowledge!
This is hands down THE most informative book on fertility there is. I think that it should be required reading for high school age girls. If only every woman knew the inner workings of her body, not only would she have more
control
over her fertility, but also many countless unwanted pregnancies could be prevented therefore eliminating 'the choice'.
The book is well organized. Easily used as a reference book. The author goes into detail of every known factor in learning to chart. When I came to this book (upon many recommendations) I knew nothing. Now I consider myself an expert on the subject. Her advice has helped me to pinpoint ovulation and maximize my chances of conception. I high recommend this book to anyone who is considering buying it. You will want to share the knowledge with every woman you know! Knowledge, after all, is power.
