Probably works well if you don't have a deviated septum!

This product has been used for say thousands of years, but when I tried to use it I found that my deviated septum caused the water to back up and come out my tearducts. Not very comfortable! Probably fine for anyone suffering from allergies or sinus problems, just keep in mind that you need to follow the directions and tilt your head at the correct angle.

I had heard and read about the neti pot, but following a trip in Kerala(India), I was convinced I had to own my own Neti pot.All the spas and medical center in Kerala, used the pot on their patients. The benefits were obvious. They recommended to use it daily as part of the hygiene.
Back in L.A. I ordered it and promptly received the pot. I have beeen using it daily since and I am amazed how easy it is. It takes just few minutes every morning. I can already see my complexion, my eyes clear up.
Food flavors seem to have been enhanced.

Funky looking pot...and my nose loves it!

The first time I saw this Neti Pot was on Oprah. I tried to get it at my local pharmacy but they didn't carry it. So, I tried Amazon.com...and lo and behold... Amazon got it! Based on the reviews, I ordered one. (I debated between the ceramic version and the non-breakable one. I decided on the ceramic version because I'm a traditionalist but hoping that it won't break any time soon!)

Very simple to use. Just fill the pot with warm water and dissolve 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Tilt your head to one side and put the nozzle of the pot on the upper nostril. The water will drip from the lower nostril. If you nose is clogged, this might take a while. Halfway through, change your head position and do the same on the other side. You can breathe through your mouth. Have a box of tissues handy. My eyes were tearing but I definitely felt better afterwards. My husband tried it and he also liked it. He is a heavy snorer and I can almost swear that the noise is not as loud as before. (Mind you, I'm not saying that he STOPPED snoring, just that the sound is not at the orchestra level!)

I highly recommend this funky little gadget. It's one of the strangest looking thing in my medicine cabinet, but well-worth it.

Netti Pot

I learned about the Netti Pot by watching Oprah one afternoon and decided to ordered one for my girlfriend and one for my sister-in-law. They both suffer from allergies and it has given them quite a bit of relief since they started using it.

Another Great Find on Amazon!

I moved from Southern California to the Mid West a few months ago and never realized that I would have a problem with the drier climate. After suffering with itchy eyes, itchy nose and what seemed like sinusitis a lady friend of mine suggested that I purchase one of these Neti pots. I had never heard of such a device and only because it was so expensive did I decide to buy one.
I had a little problem getting used to it but once I did I now use it on a regular basis and have found relief for my problems.
The company shipped it quickly and it looks like it will last a long time. Thanks again to Amazon for providing such great products.
