highly recommended

small and perfect

I've had the camera for about 2-weeks and have taken over a hundred shots indoors and outdoors. Every picture looks great except if I try to print extra large pictures over 5x7 {which I never do anyway} this is a great camera for the price, I would hold off on purchasing a more expensive camera, ..., until they perfect this technology, especially the battery issue! I would recommend rechargeable batteries and turn off viewer, use 32mb compact flash card, the zoom and auto focus are great, also has excellent manual controls that can be viewed by the on/off display, before taking the picure. Red eye is very poor. camera has 1 yr. warranty! I'm having alot of fun with this camera just snapping away and creating picure disks and slide shows....

i purchased this camera with no knowledge of using a digital camera-when it came i couldnt wait to use it-it was so easy to use,i learned how to shot pictures,download and print them within a few minutes,now i can take pictures of my 10 grand children and keep them until i'm ready to print-one of the greatest things i'v ever bought for myself,thanks amazon

Really, really, really cool camera

well, i take pictures for my website and basically, it's great. i don't even shoot pictures at the highest resolution, i use 640x480, and the pictures look great. I'd recommend you buy this camera. It's a no brainer camera...kiss simple. Just put what you wanna shoot into the lcd screen, and click the shutter. The only thing is, you might wanna grab some nimh rechargable batteries, because alkalines will run out in no time (i assume, i haven't used alkalines before) it's not too small, and it's not too big (like some of the more expensive cameras). ...

Buy this Camera

This is a great Camera. If your looking to buy a digital camera for the first time, buy this camera, you will love it. The image quality is so clear. This is a good looking camera with a solid feel. The canon software is so convenient to use, the downloads are fast and easy. This is definetely the best camera out there for the price. Under 200 dollars, i can't believe it. I put the settings on small resolution, super fine, where i can take up to 144 pictures on a 32MB flash card. The cons may be that there still a little red eye in some pictures and battery goes fast, if you have a charger, your fine.
