I like this product:
Pros: ease of use, easy to set up, light weight on the ear, can wear all day, good talk time/stby, clarity is great. Plantronics has a good rep.
Cons: does take some time to get used to, control buttons are a little stiff, have found range to phone less than 30ft.(Could be the phone), recharge time is a little long.
I would buy this product again.
Good little unit, but not perfect
This is only my second
bluetooth
headset
(my first was a basic Motorola from a few years back, I don't remember the model), but I must say, I'm impressed with the quality of this headset compared to the other. The audio is very clear, although I still haven't tested it for interstate driving. People on the other end report that it is much clearer than my old headset. It is incredibly comfortable, and I could probably wear it
all
day without it bothering me. The volume is plenty loud at half volume, where the Moto had to be cranked and still wasn't loud enough!
I was debating between getting this model and the 665, but ended up going with the
655
because of the AAA-battery charging option. I figure I could always use my GPS power supply to charge in the car in an emergency since it uses a standard mini-USB.
I have to echo a few complaints that other reviews have mentioned, the range and the buttons. Frankly, the range sucks. Sometimes if the phone is in my pocket, I'll get a weak signal alert. It hasn't happened a lot thus far, but that could be a big problem. It works fine sitting on my dash, which I probably care most about, but forget about getting more than 10-15ft away from it. This is the only area where my Moto headset outperforms this one.
And the buttons, like someone else said, it's impossible to push them without mashing your ear in. But if you grasp the unit with two fingers and press the button with a third, it's not that bad, you just have to get used to doing it that way.
All in all, this is a great headset, and as long as I don't have too many problems with the signal strength, I think I will count this as a great buy. Could be better in the range department, but compared to what's out there, I'm not sure you'll find anything much better when looking at the total package.

Had the 640 before this and this seems more durable. The ear holder keeps popping off. Charge times are good. Reception is great. Prettu comfortable. Probably one of the best out there. I want to also try the Jawbone it looks funky and chunky.
Loved it
Fantastic
headset
. Works flawlessly with my Nokia 9300. Voice quality is better than any wireless headset I have tried. Convenient carrying case and numerous charging options make this unit very versatile. Comes with a extension for the carrying case that takes a AA battery to recharge the headset if you are on the go and don't have access to USB or AC power. Battery life is somewhat short but that is the price you pay for the sm

Sorta nice but with problems
I think the things that I did not like the best for this unit was that the earloop and the ear gels come loose readily, particularly if you do not keep the gel turned to one side or the other. I lost the gels twice when they came out unexpectantly. I also lost the unit twice when the earloop grabbed onto something and was pulled from my pocket. Unfortunately, the last time it was lost for good. One other thing about the gels, is that I never felt comfortable with them, and I tried a couple sizes.
As far as sound quality, it was usu

y decent; but I noticed a popping with some phone calls. I never could figure out what caused the popping.
I liked the ease of charging it and pairing was particularly easy. I particularly liked the ability to charge it from a battery in case of emergency. Speaking of battery life, I found it needed to be charged pretty much every day to make sure that it was ready when I needed it.
