Listen to your IPOD anywhere!

I'm going to preface this review with a huge disclaimer that I have no expertise with regard to audio - this is a just a review of how an average person might enjoy the new JLAB MiniBlaster.

I received an IPOD Nano in November and I soon realized the need for portability and sharability (if that's a word!). Although my husband's car is rigged for MP3 players, my 6 year old minivan is not and the FM transmitter things they sell to use in older cars like mine have gotten terrible reviews. Since I knew I wanted to use the IPOD in the car, and use it outside when playing with the kids, I knew I wanted something small. I researched the options and discovered that JLAB had this new MiniBlaster coming out in a week. I am the type of person who does a lot of research before buying electronics and I had a hard time deciding whether or not I should order something that hadn't gotten a lot of reviews yet since it hadn't been officially released. I ordered it and anxiously waited for it's release on Dec 15th.

This thing is awesome! The sound is great. They include a clear, gel like IPOD sleeve to put your IPOD in before you insert it into the dock, so it is well protected while in use. You have the option to use A/C power or battery power. It is easy to insert and remove the IPOD. The directions were more specific than I had expected, even giving guidance about setting the IPOD volume to 5 clicks below maximum for optimum sound quality. We got it before Christmas, just in time for our lengthy holiday drive. No more "Mom, can you turn it to song 3 on the CD now?" - the kids had control and were happy campers the whole trip. Even when we got to our destination, we used it in the house and while playing outside.

We went to the Apple Store last week to look at getting each of the kids their own IPODS and I toyed with the idea of getting a bigger, beefier sound dock to use at home but I realized I just don't need it since my MiniBlaster fits the bill just fine on its own.

Awesome Speakers!

I bought this as a gift for someone and recently heard the speakers. They sound amazing! We're both really impressed with the sound, bass, volume and clarity of the speakers. It's a really great product.

Little speaker; Great sound!

I love my little Nano Speaker! The sound is excellent for such a small speaker. The high/low ranges are all there and the quality of the sound is very good. It is also easy to use. Just slip your ipod into the case which is included and slide it into the back of the speaker. Turn it on and you have your own little stereo system that you can take with you anywhere. It is much nicer than always having to wear ear phones and you can share your music with your friends! It was a good purchase and I recommend to anyone who wants to be able to listen to their music without the discomfort of ear phones.
