A book for the beginner. Scott Kelby is a funny guy, makes the book bearable. Can start at the beginning of the book, or just go to where you need help.

Great book

I have many books about Photoshop Elements because I've purchased this software from the first release. This book is by far the best. Very easy to understand, and immediately use the tips to make my photos come to life. This is without a doubt worth buying. I use it often!

disappointing

The book is actually pretty good. I was disappointed in the chapter on raw. I am new to this software and processing in raw format. What the book shows and my version 5 is completely different. I sent an email asking if they could explain the features since it is so different. I listed each, they said "I believe that Camera Raw was updated after the publication of our book." Also they informed me that they don't have a help desk. I have seen publications print corrections etc. that you are able to obtain. If raw is unimportant get it, if you want to learn about raw get something else.

Great book, exactly what I was looking for. 1 to 2 page tips and instructions per topic. A great resource and reference type book.
