This book is fabulous. If you ever wanted to know anything about everything needed to live off-grid, or simply do things the old fashioned way this is the book for you. Every detail about things you've always wanted to know is in this book. It's a good 2 inches thick or more and every page is front to back full of text. What a great contribution this lady has made. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent Reference

A great book to have on the bookshelf for anyone living in the country or thinking abt it. Gives excellent information on how to do just abt anything and everything. I love to sit down at night and flip through until I find a subject of interest. The authors little stories make it enjoyable to read and not too formal.
