Great but flawed design
Ive been using this
keyboard
for over a year now, and simply put, it is BEAUTIFUL as keyboards go, great for typing, and somewhat compact. That's pretty much all that's good about it: you'll love the feel and looks.
Now, on the negative side, it suffers from some of the worst special-button layout in the history of keyboards. The Volume-Up/Volume-Down and Mute buttons are simply in the dumbest, most illogical, ridiculous, hard-to-memorize places one could possible hope to put them. They are among the silver buttons on the top button-bar, but are surrounded on both sides by other buttons, so you can never just reach down blindly and hit them in the dark. It's a nightmare. I mean, for crying out loud, the Calculator button is on the far right where the Mute should be.
Simply put, whoever designed the special-buttons bar needs to be handed this keyboard and told to try making volume adjustments for an hour, in the dark.
That alone makes this keyboard almost not worth getting.
Other negative issues include the fact that the silver border around the edges of the keyboard has all but entirely worn off on the bottom half of the keyboard, exposing a beige strip of plastic. I don't really care, but the thing is supposed to be metal for a KB that costs this much.
So, all-in-all, its a great keyboard with a massive, drive-you-up-the-wall flaw that really should be a turning point in deciding whether or not you get it.

Very Good Product
I bought this product because it is the only product i could find with the scissor switch
type
keys found on all laptops. After owning the product for a month, i am very pleased with my purchase. I do find some of the buttons awkwardly placed, such as the delete, home and insert buttons, but other than that the
keyboard
performs wonderfully. All the quick buttons on top respond exactly as you would want them to, and the inclusion of the number pad on the right is essential for someone like me who finds it very annoying to type long numbers using the horizontal number system on all keyboards.
I would recommend this product highly to anyone who prefers scissor switch keys over normal desktop keyboards.

Feels a lot like a laptop if that is what you are looking for...
I wanted a very
slim
keyboard
that felt like a laptop keyboard since that is what I am most used to.
Unfortunately it comes with no software and I have not found any on their website so that you can see volume change status etc.
The most irritating thing about the keyboard is the placement of an additional "\" key next to the space bar on the left hand side. I hit it all the time instead of ALT. If it were not for this stupidly placed key I would have given it 4 stars.
Overall it is a decent keyboard.

Scissor type keyboard with IRREGULAR layout
I tried this
keyboard
for several days and returned it.
Fortunately, Amazon gracefully accepted the return without any problem.
Here is my take on this keyboard and hope I can prevent someone like me from buying and returning this product.
1. Pros
1) Scissor
type
keyboard for comfortable typing
2) Smaller than regular size
2. Cons
1) Irregular layout
This was the deciding factor for me.
I could not get used to the strangely placed keys such as Ins, Del, Pgup, Pgdn, Home, End. Since I need to these keys frequently during programming, I found myself making lots of mistakes with this keyboard.
In addition, I started to make mistakes with regular keyboard as well.
2) Compared to regular-sized keyboards, this is smaller but only by a small degree.
3. Conclusion.
I loved the tactile response of scissor-type keyboards. It is definitely easy on my fingers.
However, the cons of this keyboard made me return it.
- If you need to use keys such as Ins, Del, Pgup, Pgdn, Home, End often
- If you think you may have problem adjusting to the irregular layout,
- If you do not desperately need the small saving in space offered by this
slim
keyboard,
I would recommend you to get regular sized-keyboard with scissor-type structure.
4. Alternatives
For PC users, I found the following alternatives available in the market.
Of course, there are more, but these are the ones that I tried.
1) I-rocks 6170M (Mac keyboard but can be used with PC without any driver)
2) I-rocks 6170E (with illuminated keys)
The former is cheaper than the latter but it has some shortcomings such as
- Alt and Windows keys are flipped
- It does not have PrtSc, scroll lock, Pause key. It has keys such as F13, F14, F15 but they do not work in PC.
The latter has typical PC keyboard layout. One problem is that using backlight makes buzzing noise. However, since I don't use backlight, it is not a problem. I am currently using the latter and quite happy with it.

Fantastic
The
keyboard
makes for fast typing and for longer as well. I am a college student and I believe this is a must because I have done so many essays and this keyboard has helped me get them finished so much faster than those regular bulky keyboards.
