Perfect Wireless keyboard for Nokia N95-8G

I bought the wireless keyboard in the hope that it would be compatible with my Nokia N95 8G mobile phone, via bluetooth and it is just great. It makes typing on the phone a dream and internet surfing is a whole lot better. No regrets.

Won't work with iPhone

Bought the keyboard because my son loves it only to find out it will not work with my new iPHone. Need drivers that are not available. Bummer! Had to send it back.

Works well with N800 - Recommended

I purchased this keyboard as a portable data entry device for my Nokia N800. The keyboard is sturdy and easy to fold and unfold, and the N800 rests securely on the keyboard's built-in stand (which also fits my Treo very nicely).

Syncing the N800 and keyboard was straightforward. I enabled bluetooth on the N800 and put it into search mode, then pressed the keyboard combination (printed on the back) to enable syncing. It worked on the third try (not sure what happened the first two attempts). Happily, it syncs automatically now a few seconds after I press the first keystroke, and stays synced until I ignore it long enough for it to "sleep".

Compactness carries a price, albeit a modest one - no number row of keys. Instead, a blue "Fn" button turns the QWERTY row into numbers, and a green "Fn" key into the symbols above the numbers on a normal keyboard. Also, if you use the Linux command line, you'll definitely notice that the up-arrow key is where the "/" key should be - "/" is an extra key to the right.

Those minor issues aside, however, the iGo Stowaway Ultra-Slim is a great portable keyboard, highly portable but with a solid feel.

a great product

A great little keyboard It communicates well with my Tablet PC (Motion M1 400), and is easy to use. It's just a little less than perfect in that the number and many punctuation keys have to be accessed via an additional key press. So entering a lot of numbers into a spreadsheet for example would be a pain. I would buy it again, though
