I am keeping it
If you are in the market to buy a
case
for your
Palm
(in my case
Tungsten
E2) and been looking at various cases, this may help you decide on what you want.
First, don't make the mistake I did. I ordered this case without actually looking at it ever. So, go to the nearest CompUSA or Staples and check out the various cases they have on their shelf. This will give you an idea of how BIG the case is. As you can see from other reviews here, some say it's big and some say it's not that big, so it's really a personal preference. I've has this for about a week now and plan on keeping it and here's why:
Pros:
1. The case is pretty solid once you figure out how to work it. The latch that let's you open the case is not that
hard
to figure out as some make it sounds it to be.
2. It looks like it was designed with Tungsten in mind- as oppose to lot of the other generic Palm cases in the market.
3. I got a good deal on it through Amazon, for somewhere around $26 bucks compared to $45 bucks at the store.
Cons:
1. The case is bulky, yes! But I have not seen a single other case in the market that is not as bulky like the old Palm V case. So really, there isn't much option for you here I don't think.
2. Opens funny- not conventional.
3. The rest of the complains you will find it in ever other reviews, people say it doesn't have openings for charger, the stylus, etc- it's all true. But like no. 1 I haven't seen any other products in the market that offer this either.
So overall, for the price I paid, and for (unfortunately) what's out there in the market for Tungsten, this is a pretty decent product.

Works as advertised
I'm very happy with this purchase. The
case
does an excellent job of protecting my new
Palm
T/X. While it doesn't have all the access cutouts at the top and bottom found on other
hard
cases, it easily swings out of the case to access the stylus, SD card slot, headphone jack, and hotsync/charger ports by connecting to the T/X using the same slide-in bar as found on the leather cover that comes as standard issue. The T/X did rattle a little in the case but that was easily fixed with a piece of 1/4 foam cut to fit into one of the card slots on the inside of the case cover.
