A Lot of Features for the Money

I have two of these keyboards and have had no problems with installation or use (I use them with a Dell laptop with MS XP.) Setting up and using the many function keys is very easy and they are real time savers. The only problem I have with the keyboard is that it does not fit in my laptop bag, but I haven't found any other full feature model that does either.

Great keyboard and mouse

I am very happy with this keyboard and mouse. The only thing that is taking some getting used to is the position of the function keys. Otherwise, I am pleaesd with this. I use the keyboard for data entry, etc. and have had no issues.

Great design.

I previously had a corded keyboard and cordless with charger. I definitely like being saved from the cords. The USB receiver is such that you can easily switch the keyboard and mouse to a notebook and back without any hassle.

My only gripe so far is the adjustable keyboard angle. You have the choice between no angle, very little angle and little angle. There's no option to have it at the angle I've been used to with all my past keyboards. There's not nearly enough difference between the angles to justify advertising that as a selling point. So if you don't like typing on a relatively flat keyboard, then I would look elsewhere.

Another issue is the lack of lights on the keyboard for caps lock and num lock. It shows up on screen in big green letters.

Pros

- Lots of controls on keyboard (volume, pictures, documents, music player)
- compact compared to some other media keyboards

Cons
- Almost no tilt on any of the 3 tilt options.
- No lights for caps lock/num lock
- Wasted space on sides that could make it even more compact
- Can only use WMP for music player as far as I can tell.

great keyboard, mouse nice but not for gaming

This is a fantastic keyboard and I would have given the package 5 stars if not for a mouse that is no good for gaming because the buttons (other than right/left click) are not supported by World of Warcraft and probably many other games. But it's not sold as a gaming package anyway, so no big deal.

The keyboard itself rocks. Great typing and comfort. The handrest is a bit small, but the keys work nicely. The great thing about this 'board is the controls for music, volume and pictures. Very well-integrated with Vista, and overall a good experience.

My suggestion is just that they need to add a standard 3rd and 4th mouse button. The mouse, by the way, is excellent for non-gamers and has good scrolling and page-turning options. Definitely OK for designers IMO.

Nice keyboard and mouse

I have only had this for about 10 days. The keyboard has a nice feel to it and the mouse is very nice as well. I originally bought a Logitech keyboard, mouse, and speakers set at Walmart for about $40, but the keyboard stopped working shortly after I started using it. It had a junky feel to it, but this set is much higher quality (you get what you pay for).

Two complaints so far: (1) I wish the adjustable "feet" raised the back edge of the keyboard higher. It sits a little too flat for my liking. (2) The front of the keyboard is starting to discolor already where I place my wrists. I would have expected the finish to hold up more than 10 days.

So far, I am on my original set of batteries, even with 8 hour a day, 6 days a week use.
